Look beyond the natural -2. Cor 5:7

Dear people of God,

if you are controlled by what you see, what you read, what people tell you all the time, you can be a Christian, no doubt, but controlled by satanic devices.

In 2 Kings 6:9-17, the bible says the servant of Elisha was controlled by the power on the outside and was thus overwhelmed by the things he saw. Indeed, he was overwhelmed by fear and anxiety until his master prayed for him. It was only then that he able to see what God was saying about his situation. When you know what God says about your situation, you will have enough patience to wait. If God says you will secure a job tomorrow, you will have patience to wait, to endure whatever difficulty you face today. Trouble becomes easier to handle when you know it will not last long. You know that when God says, “Yes,” no one can say, “No.” “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18. So, when you base your judgement on what you see, hear, read, or what your circumstances look like, you can never be constant; you cannot see deep enough to the heart. Remember Jesus said, ‘A prophet is not without honour except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house’ ”. Mark 6:4
