The return of Jesus and the Last Judgment are not easy subjects. And yet Christians are waiting for Jesus to return from heaven to complete God's kingdom. Then earth and sky will be created anew.
The return of Christ is part of the great hope that we believers have for us humans and the world: When Jesus Christ returns, he will not only complete God's kingdom, but he will also judge people and destroy all evil and people and the whole redeem world. Then the world will finally be the way God wanted it to be.
In the Gospel of Matthew 24, in the 1st letter of Thessalonians, in Revelation, in the various books of the prophets (Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joel, etc.) this end time is described in more detail.
Even if the many signs such as solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, blood moons, plague (such as the corona virus disease), similar diseases, famines, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.) of the present time point to the immediate nearness of the Second Coming, we know that that only God the Father is the only one who knows and determines the precise time of Christ's return.
Let's think of the word from 1 Peter 4:7:
"But the end of all things is near.
So now be prudent and sober for prayer."
