What we believe in following Jesus

"In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit"

​

With these words we followers of Jesus confess our faith at the beginning of a service. There is one God eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

• GOD YHWH , is the  Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth and of all men; he is our heavenly and eternal Father.

• Jesus Christ (Yeshua ha Mashiah, the Messiah), is God's Son. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He became human for us. Jesus lived a sinless life to take on all our sins, to redeem us from our guilt by dying for us. Jesus, our Savior, Mediator and Advocate before God the Father, not only died , but rose from the dead to now reign together with our heavenly Father, seated at GOD'S right hand. SOON, Jesus will come again to build his millennial kingdom here on earth.

• All people in the world are sinners and we will all one day stand before the judgment of Almighty God. We must realize that only Jesus' death as our sacrifice and His shed blood on the Cross will save us.

• When we accept Jesus as our Savior and follow His path to the Father and eternal life, we are filled with the Holy Spirit —often called the Spirit of God. He is our Comforter and Helper at all times. He also speaks into our consciences and enables us to voluntarily follow GOD'S commandments and instructions. Through the Holy Spirit we are enabled to hear and follow GOD'S voice. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is open to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and submit their lives totally to the perfect will of God. The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit are available through the Holy Spirit and are for the service of the church/congregation today of our Lord Jesus Christ.

• A holy Christian life is important, and we must attend to the hurts and social needs of those around us
