Shofar blowing on Yom Teruah / Rosh Hashanah - call to repentance and confession of sins

As I do every year on Yom Teruah, I asked our Lord what He would like to teach us for the coming season. The Holy Spirit immediately gave me the following verse from Isaiah 27 :

Therefore, Jacob's guilt will be atoned for. And this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: that he will make all the altar stones like broken limestones, and will no longer set up Asherah poles or incense poles. ( Isaiah 27:9 )

As always, I first started to find out more about the verse.

Context and Meaning: In this passage, Israel is described as the "pleasant vineyard," yet it is unfaithful to God. God will not tolerate the unfaithfulness and transgressions of his people.

The destruction of the pagan altars is a symbolic act to eradicate sin and idolatry. The "vineyard" becomes a place of forgiveness and peace, as God removes his wrath and sins are forgiven through the removal of the altars.

Isaiah 27:9 is thus a prophetic indication of how God will bring about purification and renewal through a symbolic destruction of sins in order to enable his people to make a new beginning.

I immediately asked myself whether this also applied to us, followers of Jesus, that is, to us Christians. Was this verse addressed only to Jacob, or rather, to the twelve tribes of Israel? For me, the answer was clear. As Christians, we are grafted into the people of Israel. We belong to God's chosen people, so this message applied to all of us.

Then ABBA Yahweh began to speak:

My child,

Now begins the time of purification and sanctification of my chosen people, and among this people I also count all those who have allowed themselves to be grafted into my people through repentance and atonement, and through the acceptance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. I will now bring them all together again. The people of Israel, which was divided and sent into exile, will be reunited. The tribes of the Northern Kingdom, that is, my lost sheep, and the Southern Kingdom will be reunited. I will forgive their sins.

For this, the entire nation must be cleansed. The vineyard must now be cleared of all weeds and unusable fruit, as well as of all false idols. The images must be destroyed.

Now the great selection begins. It will bring about a profound rethinking. Many will now finally realize that they have not followed My narrow path —the path revealed by Jesus—but have taken the wide path . They have allowed pagan customs and ways of thinking to continue in their lives. They observe, among other things, false holidays and thus worship false gods (sun goddess - Sunday, Obelix; Easter - Astarte; Asherah = fertility goddess, and many more).

I am a holy God. No one can come to Me unless they have repented, turned away from their wrong ways, and allowed themselves to be cleansed. If someone has accepted Jesus as their Savior, their sins are forgiven. They are free from guilt. But then, unfortunately, many believers and newly born believe that because they were saved by My grace, they can now continue to live just as before. They do not allow themselves to be moved to repent, but just as before, they go against My will and continue to follow the long path. They continue to worship things that do not honor Me, that do not put Me first. They say, "We live under grace." Now, My child, explain to your readers that the time of grace is over , and everyone must repent, keep to My Word, respect My Sabbaths and festivals (seven), for I, YAHWEH, will now radically clean up. I will destroy all altar stones, all Asherah statues, all sun pillars, and obelisks. None of the unholy, pagan idols and statues may exist or remain before Me.

Remember the first commandment: I alone am Yahweh your God! I have freed you from the world's house of slavery, that is, I have redeemed you from the slavery and bondage of Satan through my Son YAHshua haMashiach (Jesus Christ). He died for you on the cross and reclaimed the dominion of the earth. Jesus alone is the true King of kings.

Now it is time to free the earth from all false images of God, from all evil. The time of thorough purification and destruction of evil has begun. My patience is at an end. The time of grace is over , but once again I call to you:

Repent – show sincere remorse for any wrong or sin you have committed. Confess your sins to me and ask for my forgiveness. Each of you has sinned, whether in word or deed. Accept the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross of Calvary. Accept him as your Savior.

Turn back —yes, turn back to me. I am Yahweh, your God! Surrender your life to my Son Yahshua. Jesus gave his life so that you can live forever and find the way to ME, your God. His blood had to flow so that you could be cleansed, sanctified, and receive new life.

Turn away From the false paths and follow the path Jesus has shown you. He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Only through him will you find me, your heavenly and almighty Father. (John 14:6)

Let yourself be filled with the Holy Spirit. He will remind you of the right path. He will write My commandments (Exodus 20) and My words in your heart. Out of love and gratitude for your new life, you will be able to follow them well.

Observe my holy days. Keep my commandments. Align yourself with my word. Listen to my voice and let yourself be guided by my Spirit and my beloved Son, Yahshua.

Yes, my child, return to me, your God. I alone am YAHWEH. I will tolerate no other gods besides me. Put me first and find rest in me. Trust me. I know you better than you know yourself. Once again:

Turn back, repent! Keep my commandments . Above all, observe the first commandment (I am YAHWEH, your God, who has set you free through Jesus, my Son) and the fourth commandment (the Sabbath commandment: keep Saturday as your day of rest, on which you may rest with me and find fellowship and peace).

Always remember that Jesus assured you that "as long as heaven and earth remain, not one jot or tittle of God's law will pass away." (Matthew 5:18) The Old Testament is just as valid today as the New Testament. They belong together and form THE WORD OF GOD , or THE WHOLE LAW . Through Jesus, the old covenant was renewed, but never abolished. Jesus showed you how to live. He said: "Your sins are forgiven; therefore sin no more. " (John 8:11) Follow his way, hold on to his truth, for he is the

I am YAHWEH. I am I. I am the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

Amen
