On Shavuot 2025, I was matter-of-factly informed about this time. "It will soon be here!" – I'm already sick of hearing that phrase. What does this "soon" mean?
SOON stands for:
S – stay close to God
O – observe the commandments
O – overcome the temptations
N – never give up hope
God speaks through dreams, through visions at night, when deep sleep falls upon people. They lie there, slumbering, but then he awakens them and terrifies them with his warning. (Job 33:15-16)
In Psalm 37, King David calls us to consciously choose God's ways. It is a firm trust and a conscious following. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through him! (John 14:6)
