(1 Corinthians 3:11) Jesus' path of redemption—his shedding of blood, his death on the cross, and his resurrection from the dead—can be seen as the groundbreaking of the new church. Jesus is the cornerstone or foundation stone. He is also the foundation and rock of our faith.
