All of us daily enter the process of judging and many times criticizing either situations or the people around us. Judging others is expressing your disapproval about others or something and finding faults with others. Everyone can judge, but not everyone can be an example by doing what is right. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the greatest Reformer the world has ever known, did not only tell others what was the right thing but He did it and showed it with His life. In the Gospel of John 8:10-11 we read, “‘Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more’”. Jesus was a channel of forgiveness where there was sin. He was a channel of joy where there was sorrow, a channel of healing where there was sickness. And this is proved in every page in the New Testament! Through the example of Jesus’ life we learn that instead of criticizing others, we should show by the way we live that Christ lives in us! 🙏 Prayer: “O Holy Spirit, help me not to judge others for their actions but show everyone through my life that You live in me. Make me a channel of shining light where there is darkness – in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!”
